One of the leading causes of water waste is an inefficient landscape irrigation system. Few people realize there is actually a lot of science behind water-wise irrigation! With all of our busy lives, sometimes it is difficult to find the time to master yet another technical skill, so we offer Vallecitos Water District customers our landscape expertise for FREE!

What is a Landscape Survey?

Think landscape science 101. Vallecitos has several Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditors on staff that are all willing to assist customers in learning all about soil profiles, plants, scheduling methods, and many other concerns that may exist in one's particular landscape. Staff show customers the location of their water meter and how it works. The landscape auditors will walk your property with you, familiarize themselves with your individual site and answer any questions that arise. Observations in distribution irregularities or drainage issues will be noted. Wiser consumers make better decisions in every industry - including water! Vallecitos is happy to bring its customers up to speed on any landscape issues some may be facing!

In addition to residential customers, Vallecitos works with commercial and industrial customers, Home Owners' Associations, and local institutions.
