Your drinking water consistently meets or exceeds all water quality standards relating to public health and aesthetics, like taste, odor and color, set by the State Water Resources Control Board - Division of Drinking Water and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The water has received over 200 types of tests, been filtered and disinfected before entering Vallecitos Water District's water distribution system. The water is further sampled and tested by Vallecitos specialists at the reservoirs and many checkpoints throughout the District.
